Dear Jamie,
Thank You for showing me and Mohammed from South Africa around the first team training complex at Melwood.
As a token of my appreciation I am happy to donate to the 23 Foundation £1,500, the proceeds from one of my recent Football Dinner Speeches.
I wish you and the 23 Foundation every success in what I believe is a fantastic charitable project.
Many thanks,
Gerard Houllier

Dear 23 Foundation,
A Big Thank You to the Foundation and to Jamie Carragher for providing the signed photograph for our son Jake who has recently signed as a U9 for Liverpool Football Club.
We would also like to take this opportunity on behalf of the parents at the Academy to say how much we all appreciate the amount of time you give up by coming down to Kirkby each week to support the boys.
We think the 23 Foundation is a very innovative idea and we wish you luck.
Regards,
Steve & Gill Cain

Sindre Johannessen from Ratvik, Norway came to Liverpool to support player Jamie Carragher in his goal of giving poor children in Merseyside new Hope.
Last year, Liverpool vice captain, Jamie Carragher established the 23 Foundation. The Foundation aims to provide children in Liverpool with the opportunity for team sports, cohesion and experiences. Much of the charities work is undertaken in parts of the city where High unemployment and poverty are widespread. The Foundation will actively provide support for children in these areas.
Sindre Johannessen knew about the foundation and contacted Jamie Carragher and his father when he and four other fathers and six players from Aksla 99-layer visited Liverpool in February. Sindre’s initial contact was with the father of the Liverpool star, Philly Carragher: I asked if there was something I could immediately contribute.
"Well there is a football team called Sorrento Juniors based in Walton Liverpool and what they needed was two sets of football kits for the team.", said Johannessen. "So the following weekend my wife and I Line, came back to Liverpool with the football kits and handed them over to the boys at Sorrento Juniors. They showed touching gratitude".
Later Sindre was invited to Jamie Carraghers home, here he got a picture with Jamie, a signed biography and football shirt, before being made an ambassador for the charity. Sindre next mission is to work towards getting the Sorrento Juniors to Norway next year. Allowing the team to experience a new city with different scenery.

To the 23 Foundation,
It has been great being involved with such a positive initiative that offers young people support, encouragement and an opportunity to express their talents, build their confidence and experience the benefits that young people living in less challenging environments take for granted.
I intend to offer my continued support to the 23 Foundation, by playing an active role in generating new funding and maintaining strong ties with my existing international network of loyal Liverpool fans, who appreciate the efforts of Jamie Carragher and everyone concerned with the 23 Foundation.
Please assist me to fulfil my role by browsing the gallery, bidding in the auction or offering a donation. Your support really does make a difference.
Kind Regards,
Mike Lepic

As a life long Liverpool supporter, I am proud to be involved with the 23 Foundation and Jamie Carragher's charity. I have children of my own and am very keen to help raise funds here in Ireland in aid of the 23 Foundation.
I am currently working very closely with Mike Lepic in raising the awareness of the charity in Ireland and am pro-active in providing official signed items of memorabilia that have been signed by Jamie Carragher. Jamie is an icon over here and on behalf of the huge Liverpool following in Ireland, I look forward to supporting him as best I can.

"As a family, we are devoted to our team, its history and especially the future and we take great pride in supporting Jamie and the 23 Foundation. My son Nicolas is a proud owner of the signed Jamie Carragher shirt."

San Francisco based RED Ron Mitchell recently visited Liverpool to see the Match and also to meet Jamie Carragher. Ron however, was not only in the City to meet Carra but was also there to collect a couple of signed Shirts and Photographs to take back to San Francisco, where they will be raffled/auctioned off for Jamie Carragher's 23 Foundation charity.
The 23 foundation encourages the youth of Merseyside to actively reach for their dreams by following their sporting interests. By providing a framework for achieving their goals, the Merseyside community,of which Jamie himself is very much a part of, can develop more confident, well rounded individuals.
Best wishes,
Ron Mitchell

"The 23 Foundation has been a superb way for us, as avid Liverpool fans, to support a great cause. In my own childhood I was lucky enough to be surrounded by a great team at home and also growing up on the Annie Road and the Kop was surrounded by the warmth of the wider Liverpool family. That continues with my own 'team' and Michael and Daniel (the names aptly chosen at 16:50 on the 19th April 2003!) are proud to have Jamie Carragher’s shirt hanging pride of place in their bedroom and in doing so supporting other kids in the community."

Dear 23 Foundation,
I have been a Liverpool fan since the late 70s and always dreamed of being part of the LFC family. My dream of being the first Greek player to sign with the senior team was crashed last year when we signed Kyrgiakos, so I decided to join the efforts of my good friend Mike Lepic and the '23 Foundation' in raising funds for Jamie's charity. I have purchased 10 signed shirts by Jamie Carragher and have 10 more on order (we are very proud to wear the). I am looking forward to meeting many of your UK based fans and US based supporters and sharing with you some incredible, authentic, LFC memorabilia. Let’s open our hearts and our wallets and show our support the RED way, after all, we never walk alone...

"Having followed Liverpool for over 40 years, I was lucky enough to be blessed with another little baby red in September 2009. His mother and I discussed names and decided on Jamie after one of Liverpool's best and most committed defenders. Jamie was born in late September and together with his big sister we now have a family of red fanatics. I look forward to the day I can take them all to Anfield and in the mean time, me and my friends from Belfast, continue to come over and support the best team in the world.
Mike Lepic and the 23 Foundation have given me the chance to purchase a shirt for Jamie and it has pride of place in his room. The service received from Mike has been excellent and I have recommended it to all my friends and they now have lots of Jamie Memorabilia and are all thinking of buying more.
Keep up the good work,
Colin French
